I have always had a strong fascination with music and moving picture. Beginning my career as a musician, I quickly discovered the power and impact of music. I enjoyed the collaborative nature of writing and performing with other musicians, songwriters and producers, and feel that this very much seasoned me for the filmmaking process I encounter today. Soon after, I chose to extend the scope of my career into the recording arts by attending school at Michigan State University. It was here that I had my first exposure to Audio Post-Production, and ultimately discovered the powerful relationship between Film and Music. Realizing this, I knew early on that Music Editing was a career well suited for me. I now enjoy working with many accomplished filmmakers and composers, all of whom have taught me a tremendous amount about my job and continue to teach me how to do it better.
